A full degree

Four years at NQF level 8, not a short course or a certificate.

Taught in person

A full-time contact programme on campus in Potchefstroom, five days a week. Separate Afrikaans and English classes follow one standard.

Practised in the church

Eight weeks in a congregation, guided by a mentor pastor.

Jonathan Edwards Institute of Higher Education is a registered private company. The Bachelor of Divinity is currently in the process of accreditation by the Council on Higher Education (CHE) and registration with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).

Accreditation carries a prior-to-commencement condition. The programme may begin only after formal regulatory clearance. The expected first cohort is 2027.
