1. Who we are
Jonathan Edwards Institute of Higher Education ("we", "us") is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website, in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
2. What we collect
When you use the "register your interest" form we collect the information you give us: your name, e-mail address, telephone number, your congregation (if you choose to provide it), and your message. If you subscribe to our newsletter we collect your e-mail address. If you apply, we collect the documents you upload as part of your application. We may also collect basic, anonymous website-usage information.
3. Why we collect it
We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, to send you the newsletter and prospectus you have asked for, to process your application, and to keep you informed about the Institute where you have agreed to this. We rely on your consent, which you give when you submit the form.
4. Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw your consent or unsubscribe at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in our e-mails. This will not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew consent.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us operate the website and send communications, under appropriate confidentiality arrangements.
6. Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and we keep it only for as long as necessary for the purposes above or as the law requires.
7. Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask us to confirm what information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to stop using it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this website.
