Academic and church decisions stay separate

The Institute decides academic admission under its Admission Policy, appoints lecturers, assessors and moderators, approves marks, determines progression and awards the degree. The churches decide candidature for ministry, calling, character and ecclesiastical suitability through classis, curators and other church bodies. An academically eligible student may enrol without seeking ordination.
